Their mission:
Through a three-year training programme, supports 12-15 young adults with learning disabilities each year by providing 20 hours of weekly hands-on training across various café roles at its café in Covent Garden. Each trainee also participates in classroom education through the charity’s partner, Mencap. Following training, an in-house employability programme connects graduates with vetted employers, where support for both graduates and employers continues for six months.
